There is a story that I want to share...A friend shared a story with me of a time when his parents owned a furniture store. One cold and snowy night, as they were about to lock up the store, they noticed a lady in her early 40’s standing in the doorway of the store. After asking the lady if she needed help she explained how she just wanted to stay in the doorway throughout the night so that she can be sheltered from the cold as she was homeless. Instead of chasing this lady away they offered to take her to their house to enjoy dinner with them and to have a good night's sleep in a warm bed. This lady took up the offer. The next day they dropped this lady off where she asked to be dropped off and then they gave her some money as they parted.

That incident reminded me of the movie ‘Pay It Forward’. We have all at one point in our lives performed or had been the recipient of an act of kindness. Have you ever wondered when you did a good deed for someone else what affect it had on them? Did they go on and do something unexpected for someone else? What kind of chain reaction would your random act of kindness lead to?

With those thoughts in mind Chain of Action was born.

There are only a small number of key chains currently in circulation but we expect this to quickly grow. From the starting point of Oakville Ontario, some have journeyed as far as Texas, Foley Alabama, Columbus Ohio, Dominican Republic, New York, and Florida.

There has been celebrity participation from which you can see their photos with the key chain on the site with such people as Howie D of the back street boys, DJ Jazzy Jeff whom most would remember from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air along with Canadian and American Radio personalities.

Are you ready to create your very own chain reaction of kindness throughout the world? Please join us in promoting kindness and good deeds to our local and global communities! Keep in mind there’s is no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act adds to the chain reaction with no logical end.
